Packed and ready!

Nu drar vi!

So friends and family now we have packed all our stuff and the bikes are in their boxes. It has been a stressfull time this last month with a new job for me (Ellen) and thoughts of what we need for this biketrip and thoughts of everything that could go wrong. But now I feel that we can relax and yesterday we had good friends over for dinner and tonight we will continue to eat with some lovely people.

We will truly miss you all but 6 months will go fast.
Now we wait and tomorrow we jump on the plane for some new adventures that we have been longing for.

Two weeks left!

So now it´s about two weeks until we are leaving for our big adventure!
Some pics from our Sardinia trip before we can get some new ones with our bikes. Trying to convince myself that we are actually going to do this for 6 months!!!! Excited and scared!

This is us on our bike trip in Sardinia. It is hot and we are eating chocolate, not the best snack in this weather.

So here we are getting ready....

Not knowing how to stay in contact with friends and family now when we are leaving for our big adventure we have created this blogg.

We are Ellen and Marco, one swedish and one italian. We are leaving Gothenburg - Sweden to go biking in South America for 6 months. We both got the chance to get time of work and eager to brake the routine of everyday life and fulfill some dreams. We both fell in love with traveling with bikes when we went to Corsica in 2009 and Sardinia in 2011. But two weeks vacation to 6 months on the road is a bit different but exciting.

Some of the best things with traveling with bikes is that you have to travel light, food and a shower is heaven after some time in the saddle, you have the time to see, feel and smell the places you pass threw and it is a big reward to look at the map knowing that it is your own legs that has taken you from A to B.

So here comes our adventure!
