R40/R52 crossing - Purmamarca

Leaving behind las Salinas Grandes, we started to climb up la cuesta del Lipan.
After a climb of  few hundred meters, topping out at 4170, we got a spectacular 2000 m drop. Surrounded by Cerro de siete colores and other colorful mountain formations, we came to Purmamarca to enjoy a very early dinner (5 pm!), a hot shower and an early night.
