Los Carlitos stayed longer in bed but me, Marco and Fred wanted a early start to get over the pass. We had 8 km to get to the top and it took us about 3 hours. It was heavy and we pushed the bikes all the way. We all felt pretty sick and took frequent brakes just to catch our breaths. Fred and Marco were my heroes and helped me push the bike when I was busy just trying to walk. We were very happy to get to the top and very eager to jump on the bikes and enjoy the downhill.
