Copacabana - Isla del Sol - Copacabana

4th and 5th March
We got a boat to Isla del Sol, where many of the Quechua legends are thought to have begun. We landed in the northern part of the island, hiked to the site of the ritual table to which the Quechua people used to come as pilgrims at the time of the Empire of the Inca. Then we slept in a hospedaje on the shore (clean, nice and cheap). The day after we hiked to the southern part of the island along an ancient Inca trail paved with cobblestones. By some reason we suffered from the altitude more than the days before!
The island is nice, the northern part is somewhat more unspoiled, the southern more touristy, but still charming.
Then, we took the boat back, cooked and ate more noodle/vegetable soup and slept our last night in Las Olas.
