Copacabana: 1st, 2nd, 3rd March, 3 rest days
This was a nice and rain-free ride.
It soon became obvious that the shores of Lago Titicaca were beautiful and not the least flat.
We crossed a strait on the Lago on a reed. We doubted on its seaworth but it did not sink!
Before a Copacabana there is a minor pass (we think it might take you at about 4300 m, though). Right there we got our 4000th km done. Then it is a fantastic view of the city, between two hills. And the drop from the pass to the city was fun!
In Copacabana, we decided it was time for luxury and took a room with kitchen at the hostal Las Olas. We just spent 3 days reading, walking along the shore and eating huge salads, noodle soups, and mangos!
