We took a bus from Puno in the morning and got to Cusco in the evening. On the bus we got a long chat with a nice cusqueño, Jose.
Cusco (downtown) is a charming colonial city, where many buildings from the conquistadors are, in fact, hybrids with Quechua foundations.
We wandered in the city centre, organized our trip to Valle Sagrada and Machu Picchu.Through Jose's directions, we found the juice stands in the market where Carmen pressed any kind of fruits into very nice juices and, later, another Hare-Krsna restaurant. Its name? Govinda, of course!
